Former Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, National chairman, Ali Modu Sheriff, on Thursday visited Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Sheriff, a former Governor of Borno State, arrived at Osinbajo’s office at about 3.30pm and went straight into a closed-door meeting with the Vice President, moments after he presided over a meeting of the National Economic Management Team.
Few minutes after, the chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, joined the meeting.
There were reports that the APC had approached Sheriff to pitch his tent with the Borno State chapter of the APC following his ouster from the former ruling party.
The outcome of the meeting is still unknown at the moment.
